Top Entry Level Job Sites

College Student and Graduate Job Search Sites

Have you just graduated from college or are you an alumnus with a few years of experience under your belt? Are you considering a career change? If so, there are a variety of job sites which focus on entry level job openings for college students. These sites also provide job search tips and assistance for college students and graduates.

Top Entry-Level / College Job Search Sites

Some of these entry level sites, including MonsterTRAK, eRecruiting, and NACElink, work only through college career offices. In those cases you will need a password from the Career Services office to access the resources. In most cases, career offices will provide passwords for alumni as well as students. So, your first step should be to ask your institution if they partner with the site you are interested in. If so, request a password and ask what other services are available that you can utilize all available resources.

MonsterTRAK is my personal favorite. Perhaps because I've been a client for most of the years since JobTrak (now MonsterTrak) started and both the employment resources and the customer service are excellent. Keep in mind that the job postings you will find on MonsterTrak are posted by employers specifically for candidates from your college or university, so, they are interested in hiring you or someone like you.

MonsterTRAK can be searched by type of position, job category, keyword, and location. Users can also review just the most recent postings. You can either apply online (you will need to upload your resume to apply) or email or mail your resume directly.

eRecruiting access is also via password, provided by your career office if they are an eRecruiting partner. eRecruiting has a variety of options for college students to search jobs and internships. In addition, users can search jobs posted by their "Career Center Only" or "Jobs From All Available Sources." The latter includes job postings from CareerBuilder and other job listings. In additional, eRecruiting has a variety of college job search advice and tips.

NACElink (sponsored by the National Association of Colleges and Employers) also has a good selection of entry level jobs openings. Again, access is via your career office.
