So, put on your creative cap and think about what your dad does enjoy. Is he a golfer? A package of tees and a gift certificate to the driving range would be a great gift. Head over to the range with him to hit a few buckets of balls and treat him to lunch at the clubhouse. Maybe your dad loves going fishing. Buy some worms, a few new lures and go fishing for the day. If that's not possible, then fire up the grill and you cook a fish dinner for him.
Whatever you do, make sure your dad knows that you understand he has a unique set of talents and interests. Don't make him settle for a "beef on the grill" holiday this year - unless he is a cattleman!
I've prepared three Father's Day plans for those of you celebrating with your dad at home this year. If your dad is a baseball fan, a runner, or a gardener, read on to find suggestions for celebrating the day with him.
